Last week I ranked 5 of my favorite science fiction films in pt 1. Here’s the remaining of the countdown. So thanks for waiting, here’s films ranked 5 – 1. 5) The original Star Wars Trilogy – One would expect the original Star Wars series to be higher on the list considering that this series was one of the progenitors of the sci-fi trend. However, there are so many good sci-fi movies out there, that don’t require people to watch in order to be considered a fan. The trilogy follows the adventures of princess Leia and Luke Skywalker as they try to save the galaxy from darkness. This summarizes the plot of all three movies, without going into extreme detail. Even to this day, the movies remain a brilliant cinematic feat, so make sure to watch. 4) Mad Max: Fury Road (2015)  – Fury Road is the fourth installment in …

Science fiction is a must-love for everybody. It has the potential to be the binding force that allows for world peace; it’s that great. Science Fiction movies tackle hard topics like social justice and racism all the while staying action packed, dramatic and a splendor to watch. Each film brings something new to people’s ever growing theories about science and beyond. Besides the fact that sci-fi films make the watcher think, each film tends to fall into one of two categories; a work of sheer brilliance or a film so absurdly funny, that it tickles its audience with a bubbly happiness each time watched. So with no further ado here is my personal top ten sci-fi list. 10) Gravity (2013) – This film is a good intro into mainstream sci fi with Sandra Bullock and George Clooney. the visual effects in this film are stunning, winning it many awards. Bio-medical …

Growing up, I watched movie after movie after movie. Although they were animated, the characters from my childhood always managed to inspire me to live my best life. While the real world was not as magical as the worlds I experienced through the movies I watched, these films inspired me to seek out similar adventures in my ordinary life, or at least as close to them as possible. Eventually, everyone gets older. Many fall into clockwork, operating according to a predictable schedule, getting sucked into the hum drum of daily life. When you live that life, the one which hardly affords you any time to yourself, it’s hard not to yearn for that magic; that easygoing perspective that childhood gives you. As a high school student, I can vouch for this. Everyday feels the same; we go to school, we come home and we eat, and then we’re usually left with …

This blog will give you tips on how to edit funny, documentary-style videos. I have been in the industry for over a decade and we have recently completed our short film. We edited a “making of” video using various clips and outtakes taken during production. Creating this film was an unforgettable experience with an amazing cast and crew. Check out the video above with before & after pictures at the end. Video editing is one of the most important aspects of film and video production. It can set the tone, it’s where you create a story, and can alter your emotions if you edit right. It can also make a subject funny, stupid, or scary even when the performance was not originally intended for that. For example, an agent asks how much their client wants to sell …
