Sony Vegas Video Editing - Exporting your video for DVD authoring
This tutorial will explain how to export your video for DVD authoring. You will need two software's by Sony. Sony Vegas, and Sony DVD Architect.
1. Open your project file in Sony Vegas. Once you have it loaded, on the timeline you will see this grey bar underneath the time with two arrows on both sides. This bar is used to select the part in the video that you will want to export. If you can find this bar, click anywhere within the timeline and press zero on the number pad. You will see it appear on the timeline under the time. Drag the arrows accordingly.
2. Next hold ctrl and press the letter "m" on the keyboard. A window will appear, select the name and folder in which you will want to save it in. In the format drop down box, select the format MPEG-2, then underneath, you'll see the template selection drop down box. Select DVD NTSC. Hit save.
3. Once your video has been exported, open Sony DVD architect and drag the video clip into the window that has a Menu item in it. It is on the top left corner of the screen. Once you are in DVD architect, you can now create menus, play buttons, and chapter selections.
