Getting your tapes to us is easy and hassle-free! We’ve partnered with AB Courier for convenient pickup anywhere in Canada, with connections to FedEx, UPS, and Purolator. In some cases, you’ll just need to print a simple shipping label.

Prefer a personal touch? You’re always welcome to drop your tapes off directly at our Toronto studio, where all the magic happens!

WE INSPECT, CONVERT, 3-POINT CHECK

The moment your tape arrives, we give it the VIP treatment. Each tape is carefully inspected to ensure it’s ready for transfer—and if repairs are needed, we handle that too!

During conversion, we fine-tune the video’s exposure to stay perfectly within 0–100 IRE levels, and adjust audio to -12dB so it will not “clip”. These are the same industry-compliant standards used by broadcasting stations.

Once the transfer is complete, we run a three-point quality check for anomalies at the beginning, middle, and end of your videos.

FREE GOOGLE DRIVE STORAGE

Once your tapes are converted, your memories are safely uploaded as MP4 files to our secure Google Drive platform. Everything stays 100% confidential—you’ll receive your own private download link. Your files remain available for 30 days before being permanently removed.

As for your original tapes, you choose what happens next: pick them up at our Toronto studio, have them shipped back to you (extra), or let us recycle them responsibly.

FAQ

How does it work?

Once you order with us, we will email or call you for verification and if you are located in Toronto, we’ll send a courier to pick up your materials within 48hrs. A&B Courier Services will come on weekdays between 9am-5pm. Place your materials in a bag, box, or package with your contact information on it.

If you’re located outside of Toronto, we will ask you to print a shipping label and either FEDEX, UPS, or Purolator will come pick up your tapes. Be sure to package it in a box securely.

Once we receive your material, your tapes will be visually inspected to insure it can be transferred safely.

All analogue footage will be adjusted for brightness and sound within legal industry standards. Noise reduction will be applied on all analogue transfers. We will check for anomalies at the beginning, middle and at the end of each file.

Once the transfer is complete, we will send you an invoice via email if there is an outstanding balance. We accept e-transfer, Visa, or Mastercard. When the final balance is cleared, you will receive a Google link drive for download. Your tapes will be recycled unless otherwise instructed, or they will be couriered back to you for an extra cost.
